Fire Emblem; Souen no Kiseki
When the kingdom of Daelin invades Crimera, disaster befalls the land. A young sellsword from Geril's Mercaniries, Ike, the son of Greil, one days falls upon a young women with a powerful claim; she is the heir, the princess, to the Crimean throne. But she has been kept a secret all these years, so unsure wheather to believe her, take her to Galia. Now, Ike and his friends must fight against the foes... and the mysterious Black Knight.. all for saving Princess Erincia.

Ranulf
Ranulf is one of the king's warriors from the country of Galia. This citizens of this country are Laguz, shapeshifters, these being the beast kind. Ranulf doesn't particularly have a bad outlook on beorc (characters without shapeshifter abilities eg. Ike). In fact he gets along quite well with them for laguz. He is a cat warrior. He firsts joins you as an npc, with Reta and Mordicai. He later joins your party as a playable character in Chapter 23. Ranulf returns for Radiant Dawn, and first appearence is part 3. From there on in he is mostly a valuabe part of conversation throughout the rest of part 3, and is usually present for meetings and such. Several chapters require him to be out with your team, and several others include him as part of the goal. Ranulf is also one of the few characters in RD to gain several FMV's with him in. Awesome? Very awesome.

Why
I love Ranulf. He's my favourite character in the game, and one of my most trusted units - he's strong, and it's a shame you never obtain him till later on. I love his style, the way he looks, his courage and mysterious veiled aura. And the fact he is so important in Radiant Dawn pleases me to no end.

Masurao
Masurao is japanese for warrior, which Ranulf is.
